Welcome to My Private Gynaecologist. By booking an appointment through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Appointments

Appointments may be booked online, by telephone, or by email. All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by the clinic.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process is accurate and complete.

2. Consultation Fees

Consultation fees are displayed at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Payment may be required in advance to secure your appointment.
  • Any additional investigations, laboratory tests, scans, procedures, prescriptions, or hospital charges are not included in the consultation fee unless specifically stated.
  • You will be informed of any additional costs before they are incurred wherever reasonably possible.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 working hours before your scheduled appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 working hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or loss of any deposit paid.

Failure to attend your appointment without prior notice ("No Show") may result in the full consultation fee being charged.

4. Late Arrival

If you arrive late, your consultation time may be shortened to avoid delaying other patients.
If you arrive significantly late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and cancellation charges may apply.

5. Medical Information

You agree to provide complete and accurate medical information relevant to your consultation. Failure to disclose important medical information may affect the advice or treatment provided.

6. Private Medical Insurance

If you intend to use private medical insurance, it is your responsibility to: Obtain any required authorisation before your appointment. Confirm your policy covers the consultation and any investigations or treatment. Pay any charges not covered by your insurer. You remain responsible for payment if your insurer declines or delays payment.

7. Clinical Advice

The consultation is intended to provide specialist medical assessment, advice, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations based on the information available at the time.

Medical advice does not guarantee a diagnosis, treatment outcome, or cure. Further investigations or follow-up appointments may be recommended where clinically appropriate.

8. Prescriptions

Prescriptions issued following your consultation may incur additional charges. Medication costs charged by pharmacies are separate from consultation fees.

9. Test Results

Where investigations are arranged, results will be reviewed by your clinician. Some results may require a follow-up consultation, which may be chargeable.

10. Patient Responsibility

Patients must follow any medical advice, treatment plans, and medication instructions provided.

If your symptoms worsen or you require urgent medical attention, you should contact NHS 111, your GP, or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 immediately.

11. Online Consultations

For virtual consultations: You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection and suitable device. Consultations should be conducted in a private environment. Technical issues beyond our control may require the appointment to be rescheduled.

12. Privacy

Your personal and medical information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

13. Confidentiality

All consultations and medical records are treated as confidential except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect patient safety.

14. Website Information

Information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency medical care.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this website and become effective immediately upon publication.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
